What really drove it home, though, was the nonstop flood of requests from all of you teacher besties wishing for exactly that! I knew the goal for the Pastel Composition classroom decor collection had to be hitting that perfect design sweet spot: playful and cute enough to spark childhood imagination, but calming enough to never feel like sensory overload on those beautifully chaotic, busy days in the classroom. 

What was the design process actually like behind the scenes?

Oh, let's just say it's a little bit of one giant creative spiral in the best way possible! I totally thought that since we already had our Cutesy theme style down, it would be a super smooth sailing process to just create a softer version.

But nope! It actually took so much intentional trial and error to find the perfect balance of colors and to get absolutely everything right. I 100% refused to let these soft muted pastel colors feel cold, boring, or sterile on your classroom walls!

Throughout the entire process, I happily pictured these designs living on your classroom walls, bulletin boards, brightening up student desks, and creating instant comfort for your little learners in their everyday classroom environment.
