What was the design process like for the Cutesy Classroom collection?

The design process for this collection has been quite an adventure! It definitely involved a bit of trial and error as I worked to create the perfect color palette and decide on the right art style. I made several samples before moving forward with the final pack, just to make sure I was on the right path toward my vision. I really like to visualize everything as if it’s already part of a classroom rather than just a product—it helps me stay connected to the purpose behind the design.

The hand-drawn school supplies clipart was a labor of love and took some time to ensure everything harmonized well with the collection. Oh, and finding the right font to match the theme wasn’t as straightforward as it might look! It took quite a bit of trial and error, but I’m really pleased with the final choice, as it perfectly complements the elements and the backgrounds. Overall, it has been a fulfilling creative journey!

Are there any specific products in the collection you’re especially excited about?

I have to admit, this is challenging, but I'm genuinely excited about all of it! What excites me the most is the thought of students seeing themselves represented at the affirmation stations. I hope that the affirming words we use will resonate with them, helping them love and embrace themselves even more. This, in turn, promotes a healthy and supportive learning environment, and that’s something I'm really passionate about!

How do you think this collection will impact the learning environment in classrooms?

I truly believe that when a classroom feels inviting, it changes everything. The colors and playful designs in this collection create such a positive vibe—it’s the kind of space that makes kids feel excited to walk through the door each morning.

At the same time, the minimalist design keeps things balanced, so students aren’t overwhelmed. It’s fun and engaging but still calm and focused, which is exactly what you want in a learning environment.

And for teachers? It’s a game-changer. Everything is designed to help you stay organized, so you can spend less time worrying about your classroom setup and more time connecting with your students.

We're really passionate about our decor collections, and they're constantly evolving to better meet the needs of teachers and students. Whenever we see an opportunity for improvement, we jump at the chance to either enhance our existing teacher resources or introduce new ones that we believe will be fantastic additions to classrooms.
