That’s how the Cutesy Classroom collection was born!
In this blog, I’m taking you behind the scenes to share what inspired the collection, how it came to life, and why it’s quickly becoming a favourite for teachers looking to create a joyful, welcoming space.
When designing the Cutesy Classroom collection, I focused on creating an experience that truly celebrates the excitement of a new school year. I wanted to cultivate an environment that radiates positivity and joy. One that feels bright, welcoming, and full of fresh possibilities.
That nostalgic back-to-school feeling inspires the collection, brought to life through a playful composition notebook theme and filled with cheerful, classroom supplies clipart like pencils, glue sticks, scissors, and more. From colorful posters to pastel-toned borders, every detail has been thoughtfully designed to help teachers create a space where creativity and learning go hand in hand.
I believe that when classrooms are filled with color and imagination, they spark happiness and motivation in young minds. My goal is for each resource in this collection to contribute to a sense of joy and enthusiasm. A visual reminder that school isn’t just about academics, but also about connection, creativity, and confidence.

For starters, all the classroom supplies graphics in this set are hand-drawn by us! That’s something I’m really proud of because it makes the collection completely exclusive to Miss Jacobs Little Learners. From pencils and crayons to glue sticks and those iconic composition notebooks, each illustration has that signature "cutesy" vibe that instantly brings a smile to your face, and your students’, too.
The composition notebook theme runs throughout the collection, giving it a nostalgic yet playful twist that ties everything together. It’s one of those subtle details that teachers love, especially when paired with our soft pastel tones and bright, colorful palette.

The design process for this collection has been quite an adventure! It definitely involved a bit of trial and error as I worked to create the perfect color palette and decide on the right art style. I made several samples before moving forward with the final pack, just to make sure I was on the right path toward my vision. I really like to visualize everything as if it’s already part of a classroom rather than just a product—it helps me stay connected to the purpose behind the design.
The hand-drawn school supplies clipart was a labor of love and took some time to ensure everything harmonized well with the collection. Oh, and finding the right font to match the theme wasn’t as straightforward as it might look! It took quite a bit of trial and error, but I’m really pleased with the final choice, as it perfectly complements the elements and the backgrounds. Overall, it has been a fulfilling creative journey!
I have to admit, this is challenging, but I'm genuinely excited about all of it! What excites me the most is the thought of students seeing themselves represented at the affirmation stations. I hope that the affirming words we use will resonate with them, helping them love and embrace themselves even more. This, in turn, promotes a healthy and supportive learning environment, and that’s something I'm really passionate about!
I truly believe that when a classroom feels inviting, it changes everything. The colors and playful designs in this collection create such a positive vibe—it’s the kind of space that makes kids feel excited to walk through the door each morning.
At the same time, the minimalist design keeps things balanced, so students aren’t overwhelmed. It’s fun and engaging but still calm and focused, which is exactly what you want in a learning environment.
And for teachers? It’s a game-changer. Everything is designed to help you stay organized, so you can spend less time worrying about your classroom setup and more time connecting with your students.
