Description
Writing Stimulus / Creative Writing Prompts:
Writing Stimulus Task Cards | Creative Writing Prompts | Writing Stimulus Task Cards | Creative Writing Prompts |
We as teachers expect our students to create pieces of writing on a regular basis - whether it be a narrative, short story, poem or creative writing piece.
What we don't think about is how hard the children find it to actually get those creative juices flowing and think about topics to write about. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to sit with each and every student before they start writing and assist them in this either.
These writing stimulus task cards were created with this is mind.
You may choose to use one of these cards for your whole class and all students write about the same topic, OR you could cut them up, laminate them and allow the children to individually choose one to write about.
If your children finish their published piece at different times, they can simply choose another task card and create a new piece.
