Description
What is a learning intention? A learning intention can also be referred to as a learning goal or objective and is a student-friendly statement written by the teacher that outlines what students should be able to achieve by the end of the lesson. Some teachers also use the term WALT - ‘We are learning to’.
How do you display your 'I can' statements, success criteria and learning intentions in your classroom? Using a clear and visible learning objectives display such as these Learning Intention & WALT / WALF Posters enables students to access their learning goals at all times whilst keeping them on track and accountable for their own learning.
These posters also give students an opportunity to see explicit ways of HOW to achieve their learning goals, which is known as the success criteria, by breaking down each requirement into achievable steps.
Displaying these editable objective posters in a prominent area in your classroom will enable you to visually present all your Learning Intentions and Success Criteria in an easy and meaningful way. This resource has been created using a stylish and neutral color palette that takes just minutes to set up and matches your Daisy Gingham Classroom Theme!
